This type of medical care is an excellent option for those uninsured people who have healthcare needs that do not require going to the Emergency Room but need immediate attention. This helps you to avoid large, unnecessary medical bills, and you avoid long wait times.
NOTE: If you actually need Emergency Room services, the doctor will inform you immediately as not to delay care!!
Urgent Care also provides care at hours when most primary care doctors are closed. This would be on the weekends and after 5:00 pm. Waiting until the next day or Mondays may cause avoidable delays in cases where getting to the doctor fast is extremely important in your healthcare issue!
